Hello everyone! This campaign has been set up to help Dean Perrin, as he navigates a rapidly advancing kidney disease.

We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to raise one year's worth of financial support for Dean and his wife as he undergoes dialysis and waits to match with a kidney donor, gets a transplant, and through his recovery.

Dean has had to stop working due to extreme exhaustion, sleeping an average of 16 hours a day. His wife has been trying to keep the family run business going while working her full-time job and managing the house and children. They have sadly fallen behind on payments on their house to the point they are looking at loosing it if they are not caught up to date.

It has become simply to hard to maintain financially on only Theressa’s income alone. It has become very taxing on her. Theressa has just recently had to take a LOA from her job to care for Dean. This has put an enormous amount of financial stress on the family.

With a heavy heart they have decided that the best course of action right now is to close the business and concentrate on Dean’s health.

Unfortunately, this is life for Dean until a donor can be found. He does have several possible people willing to go through the testing to hopefully find a match. He has a long battle and recovery ahead.

Chronic kidney disease, also called chronic kidney failure, involves a gradual loss of kidney function. Your kidneys filter wastes and excess fluids from your blood, which are then removed in your urine. Advanced chronic kidney disease can cause dangerous levels of fluid, electrolytes and wastes to build up in your body.

Treatment for chronic kidney disease focuses on slowing the progression of kidney damage, usually by controlling the cause. But, even controlling the cause might not keep kidney damage from progressing. Chronic kidney disease can progress to end-stage kidney failure, which is fatal without artificial filtering (dialysis) or a kidney transplant.

Funds raised will go directly to everyday costs, such as mortgage payments, utility bills, car payments, car insurance, groceries, etc., and any other costs that his minimal insurance will not cover.
