What a ride it’s been. December 17th is when everything started. Cheyenne woke up feeling weird and within two hours she couldn’t move. It was like she was glued to her bed. Very short of breath and body wouldnt work. The squad got called and they took her to the hospital. When they arrived at her house. Cheyenne pulse ox was in the low 70’s and her temp was 104.7. When she arrived at the hospital they tested her for covid and influenza. Did chest xrays which showed double super pneumonia. Cheyenne tested positive for influenza and was told her Covid test would be back in 24 hours. They dismissed her.. told her it was very unlikely she would have Covid one because of her blood type and two because she had influenza. The next day they called and said she was Covid positive..she doesn’t really remember the next couple of days.. Cheyenne was very sick. Didn’t leave the chair in her bedroom. December 23rd her aunt came and took her pulse ox it was low and she couldn’t breathe so she took Cheyenne to er, at that point is when she was admitted and they told her she might not make it...the doctor told her to call her family and prepare them for what was about to happen.. they was going to get her prepped and ready for a vent. Cheyenne told them she wasn’t ready for that, that’s not what she wanted. She needed some time to process everything. He told Cheyenne the game plan, about the infusion and medicine. Told her they would get the infusion started. When it arrived it was damaged. They had to get one sent down from Columbus. Now December 25/26 this night is when they started her infusion, Within 3/5 mins of receiving it her body became whole. December 27th Day 12 of not eating they come in and tell her she can go home, She had to pass a walking test. It took everything out of her. They told her she was going home on oxygen. 28 being stopped in her tracks going home on oxygen. The next couple of weeks are very rough. Body ache, headaches, sleepless nights, mood swings, shortness of breath, wheezing and a lot of crying. Physically, mentally and emotionally drained but She continues to fight. She is still not out of the clear yet as her lungs and immune system are very week .Covid brain is real.. She will go to say things and they won’t come out or she will say random stuff. Her hair has started falling out do to the stress and everything she has been through, She is a fighter!! Shes not giving up. Her recent doctors appointment she learned she may have damage done to her lunges and heart. She has many up coming tests to determine the damage.  Her blood work has shown possible blood clots in her lungs. A Catscan will be done to see what’s going on. Cheyenne has been off work since December 17th and will continue to be off till her doctor gives her permission to return. Her unexpected medical expenses are starting to add up on top of all other bills she already has.  Cheyenne also has her daughter Whillow who  has been one tough cookie through all this. Cheyenne is not aware that I’m starting a go fund me page for her at the moment. She is a very generous giving person so I thought maybe we could give back to her ❤️
