Dan Wilson

It is with a very heavy heart that we learn of the sudden passing of colleague and friend Daniel Wilson.

Dan was one of the longest serving Youth Workers in Cardiff with a career spanning over two decades. He was a dedicated professional who touched the Lives of So many young people and staff across the Cardiff.

Staff from Cardiff’s Youth Services team trained with him and others would have worked alongside him. Those that knew him well, knew of the huge heart he had.

He worked in a number of communities throughout Cardiff, where his thoughtful and reflective work touched the lives of so many young people and their families. Many will remember him for his work at Grassroots in the city-centre where he worked tirelessly to support young people, many of whom were struggling with day-to-day life.

Dan leaves many people behind who loved him and we know your thoughts will go out to his family at this extremely difficult time.

Famliy have asked for donaction to the Grassroots Charity in leu of flowers, money will be used to contine Dan legacy at Grassroots.
