Help us lay our Grandma to rest
Donation protected
My grandmother Marilyn Trujillo passed away Sunday October 24th in the early morning hours at the age of 70. We had only found out less than 2 weeks before that she was very ill and the day before it was ovarian cancer.
My grandma was the full time care giver for her 99 year old mother that we lovingly call Granny. My mother Marie quit her job to help my Grandma Marilyn care for Granny as soon as we found out she was ill. And now on top of unexpected funeral costs we’d also like to help my mom Marie pay the mortgage the next few months at the home they shared so she can grieve without worrying about bills.
My Grandma raised me and my brother Darin after she raised her own 3 kids. I’m forever grateful for the sacrifices she made to care for us. Even as an adult, if I was ever in need of help, my grandma Marilyn would do anything for us. She has 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a large extended family. She was a full blooded proud Native American from the Chickasaw tribe and a devoted Jehovah’s Witness.
Her unexpected death has left us all in shock and heartbroken. Her laugh lit up any room and now suddenly the same rooms are so quiet. If you ever met my grandma Marilyn then you know that laugh!
Help us lay our grandma to rest in one of her favorite places to read her scriptures.
We will see you in paradise Grandma!
