My name is Kayla. Some of you know me better as Antoinette. I'm asking for help paying off an unexpected dental bill.

Around March 6/7, 2023 I started to have really bad tooth pain. This was pretty normal for me and it usually went away in a few days. 

Not this time. By March 9th I ended up in the ER and I have to go to the ER ever day since for IV antibiotics. My face is still swollen. 

 I was finally able to see my childhood dental office on the 13th and they sent me to the ER with a letter that included a request for the ER to referred me to the oral surgeon. I saw the oral surgeon on the 14th. I have to have all but 6 of my teeth removed. 

Most of you are probably asking yourself why I am here asking for help with this. Unlike say a knee replacement surgey, Dental work like this is not covered by the health care system in Canada. This work is going to cost me $5000.00. $5000.00 I didn't expect to have to pay right now and $5000 I don't have. Followed by upwards of $3500 for dentures. 

While my insurance is going to pay for part if it, I have to pay this upfront to get the work done and to start the denture process. I am here asking, if you can to help me with these costs. 

All funds raised will go directly to paying off the loan I had to take to pay the initial $5000 for the teeth removal and to paying for the dentures I will need to get.
