Many of you quickly jumped on our train to help Maggie get the "miracle drug" to help battle her fight with cancer. Thank you. The amount of support in such a small time period was truly astounding. Dave will be refunding all the monies donated, since the intent is no longer a path forward for Maggie and she will be receiving end of life care for the remainder of time she has with us.

Dave mentioned that many have asked what else they can do, or offered for him to keep the money and use it for related expenses. This is challenging for him to manage through that GoFundMe, and to track who wants what during this time. The purpose of this donation page is different, and will allow Dave to focus on the decisions to be made while he is by Maggie's side. It also give us a change to help, still, for a different cause.

Over the past few weeks there have been additional costs incurred related to transportation and logistics in getting to this point. Also, her parents were planning to come in for the wedding and arrived earlier this week instead. These additional costs were not anticipated, especially with having to stay in New York. I do not know the appropriate amount here, so I picked one.

If the amount collected here exceeds the additional costs incurred, I will see to it that it is given to the memorial fund. I assume I will be able to email all of you with that status when we get there.

We will be having a small wedding ceremony in her hospital room, Friday, August 12th. She will have her dress, her parents, and a few close friends.
