Help Us Honor the Life & Legacy of Cleon Pryce
(April 21, 1994 – April 22, 2025)
We are devastated to share the sudden passing of Cleon Pryce, a beloved father, mentor, and proud son of Jamaica. Cleon was a former Jamaican National Team and professional soccer player, and more recently, a dedicated coach who mentored countless young athletes across the U.S. and the Caribbean.
Cleon passed away on April 22, 2025, just one day after his 31st birthday. He is survived by his 7-year-old son, Caleb Pryce, the light of his life and the reason behind everything he did.
Cleon’s journey was one of greatness and service—from representing his country on the field to guiding the next generation with patience, passion, and pride. His life was deeply rooted in love for his homeland and an unshakable commitment to building a better future for his son.
We are launching this GoFundMe to support three deeply meaningful causes:
1. Funeral Services in the U.S. – To cover the cost of honoring Cleon with dignity here where he coached, worked, and lived.
2. Returning Cleon Home to Jamaica – To fulfill his family’s wish to have him laid to rest in his homeland, surrounded by his roots and loved ones.
3. The Caleb Pryce Scholarship Fund – To provide for Caleb’s education, health, and well-being in the years to come, ensuring the dreams his father held for him live on.
We are seeking to raise $25,000 to cover funeral and travel expenses and to establish a trust that will support Caleb’s future. Every dollar will go toward honoring Cleon’s legacy and protecting what mattered most to him—his son.
Cleon gave everything to his family, to the sport, and to the communities he served. Let us now come together to give back to him and ensure his son is never alone.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with others who knew Cleon, played with him, learned from him, or were inspired by his story.
Thank you for standing with us in love, unity, and remembrance.
