Hi, my name is Yvonne and I am fundraising for my grandson Cole for Vision Therapy. I have heard about a condition called lazy eye and most of you have heard of it also.

Depending on how bad the condition is determines how it effects their every day life. His one eye is mild and this is the eye that he uses to see. The other eye is severe and this causes him to see double for vision.

This condition stops him from the ability to read. It causes poor hand and eye coordination and can not play sports. He has a E.A. assistant in school to read to him so he can complete work. This effects his emotions and self confidence.

There is a program that will help him train his eye and decrease his lazy eye to be able to see properly and we have started the testing for this vision therapy at over $400. He requires a 30 week program at over $4000 and a home kit at over $400 and we have a start date. These amounts are not covered by work insurance and is not covered by any government program. Therefore it is out of pocket expenses.

I can not understand how this is not covered in any way from any place but this child needs this therapy to be able to help him see properly and become more independent.

I have included the Dr letter and price sheet as proof and We have started paying for this vision therapy but we need some help. We are very grateful for anything you can do to help Cole.
