Hey homies!

I’ve tried to avoid making a GoFundMe but life has gotten pretty wild and it is time to ask for help, which is always the hardest.

Back in March, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer about 3 weeks after my 28th birthday. I had been experiencing extreme stomach aches and pains for close to a year, which led me to finally go to the ER where they were able to find the reason. Turns out a tennis ball-sized tumor can make you feel pretty rough. I had emergency surgery and have been in recovery and undergoing chemotherapy since April.

I have been super lucky to have such major support from family and friends during this time, especially my mom (Big Dawg <3) who drives up from Bellingham whenever I need her help. I truly appreciate the love and generosity that has come my way. I definitely do not take this for granted ever and I want to acknowledge every cancer journey is different. I have been fortunate to continue to be able to live my life as “normal” as possible, so I imagine this might come as a surprise to those who don’t know.

I’ve been able to get back to work within the last few months, however, it’s every other week and significantly fewer hours than before. Even though I am more than halfway through chemotherapy this ride is still going. I will be having additional surgeries in the future, so it’s up in the air as to when I’ll actually get back on my feet. Therefore the goal of this GoFundMe is to help me pay rent, pay bills, pay hospital parking(so messed up)/gas for my mom, and to rebuild the emergency savings I had before all this happened.

Anything is appreciated, nothing is expected.

This is going to be an ongoing journey.
