Philip Ventris Cancer Fund

Over the past 3 months Philip has been struggling with back and hip pain.  After months of stubbornly working through it,  the pain became unbearable, so, he finally visited a doctor. After conducting an MRI, it was revealed that he had a cracked hip bone that would require emergency surgery, as well as a lesion on his femur.

The surgery went well and doctors inserted a rod into Philip's leg along the femur to the hip bone and to the pelvis. However, he was informed that the lesion found on his femur was cancerous, and that it had likely spread from a spot found on his lung.

He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, which has spread to the bone, thyroid, and brain. Unfortunately, he was also informed that he had limited time left with us, as they told him he has 6-18 months to live.

Philip is a hard working man who loves his family, which includes 3 children, 3 step children, 17 grand children and 1 on the way, and 1 great grand child also on the way. He is always there for us in our time of need, now its our turn to be there for him.

With the recent diagnosis and all of the pain he has been in, Philip has been left in a tough spot, not being able to work for the first time in a long time.  At this time, we ask that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers and  would greatly appreciate any donations.

Thank you and God Bless
