I am a first year medical student working to raise money to help supplement a medical mission trip I am taking this summer. I am traveling to Honduras this summer with a group of my peers and physicians. We will be setting up clinic and seeing patients who normally do not have access to medical care. We are working with an organization called Misioneros de Esperanza. All funds collected will be going toward supplies for the trip, my plane ticket, required vaccines, accommodations , and living necessities while in Honduras.
