A Friend In Need

Greetings All!
We have all had our times when we have been down on our luck, where it seems one bad thing happens after another. Where you're constantly putting one foot in front of the other, only to be knocked down again and again.  Of course, one can tell themselves it can always be worse, but all of our lives are completely situational and our own individual pain, suffering and grief can't and should never be compared to one another.
I am creating this page on behalf of a very dear massage client of mine who has had said bad luck for quite some time now. This is a person who gets up every morning and goes to a manual labor job M-F. This is a person who is in almost constant chronic pain, yet still does and helps other people. This is a proud, loving, kind, hard working, strong as all get-out fellow human and member of our community. They give, they love, they do.
The problem is that they currently have a job that does not offer healthy insurance and have been having a hard time finding one. They fall into that trap where you make too much  to qualify for Green Mountain Care, but can't afford to pay for insurance. This person NEEDS insurance! Their car is old and breaking, their house has had some issues....the list goes on.
I have been in this place before. I have twice in my life as an adult mother of three been on food stamps. I have relied on my family and a very dear friend of mine to help me with groceries, wood, plowing, borrowing money and the likes. There was a time when  my  two older children wouldn't of had much of a Christmas if it wasn't for my dear friend Annie and my mother.  I got back on my feet, but it wasn't without these people. I have had the great pleasure of getting to reciprocate these same gifts: I have donated, made food for, watched children, filled a friends refrigerator with groceries, paid for a dinner out for a mother and son, paid for someone's car insurance, helped pay for someone's children's activities, someone's meds, donated massages, etc..
The Point is that I would never of gotten to the place where I could do so much for others without the generosity of my family, friends and neighbors. This person needs our help!
If you're unable to donate, please send a mental kind thought, prayer or positive vibe out to them. Everything helps!
And above all else, MANY MANY THANKS!!!
