Greetings!
I am a Lowell native that was born and raised in this wonderful city. Having lived in this diverse and enchanting city for many years, I have always deeply appreciated the strong sense of community we share and the incredible value of accessible, free education. To help foster that continued spirit of learning, I am reaching out to ask for your support in funding a new Little Free Library for our neighborhood.
I live right next to McAvinnue Elementary School, Father Maguires Park and Cub Scout Pack 7 so this library will be perfectly positioned to benefit our local youth. It will provide a convenient, welcoming space for current and future students to easily access books, discover new stories, and develop a lifelong love of reading just steps from their classrooms.
I reached out to the Little Free Library nonprofit organization and was told the starting price to purchase a sturdy, weather-proof Little Free Library structure is $299.95. While there is a tangible cost to get this project off the ground, the value of the education, imagination, and joy it will bring to our community is truly priceless.
How You Can Help
Financial Donations: Any contribution toward the $299.95 goal, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making this project a reality.
Book Donations: If you are unable to donate financially, gently used children's books to help stock the library once it is built are incredibly welcome.
Spread the Word: Sharing this request with friends, family, and other neighbors is a massive help.
Thank you so much for your time, your generosity, and for helping to support the educational journey of our neighborhood's children!
Graciously,
Nicole
