Youth With A Mission (Outreach)

Hello friends and family! I have always felt a call on my heart to serve God and do mission work. As I began to pray and look into some organizations I found out about a program called YWAM (Youth with A Mission).
YWAM is a Christian mission organization that focuses on training youth on how to know God better and make him known. I will be attending a DTS (discipleship training school) in Queensland, Australia for about 6 months for a lecture phase where I will be learning in a classroom environment. Lecture phase is followed by an outreach phase where I will be applying everything I’ve learned on a cross-cultural outreach. My classes for lecture begin on September 1st and I will leave for outreach sometime in December. I don’t know exactly where my outreach location will be yet, but I will be sure to update when I find out. I am so excited about this amazing opportunity and believe God has big things planned!
As as I prepare to leave for YWAM, I would like to ask for your support! If you could be praying for myself and my team during our lecture phase that the Lord would be working on our hearts, breaking down walls and that we would respond by trusting him. If you could also pray for safe travels for me and my team as we travel to other countries. I also would love prayer as I take this journey of faith to grow with God and develop a firm foundation in the Lord to set the pace for the future. Along with prayer, my trip requires financial support.
The total cost of the trip is $10,000. I’ve already committed and paid for the lecture phase, tuition and travel costs. I am raising funds for the outreach phase. The cost will be around $4,000 depending on which country I am sent to. These funds are due by the end of October.
