Help Jay Transition!

Hi, my name is Jay! I am a 29 year old from London and I am transgender.

I have struggled with my gender identity all my life and have always known that I was not born in the body that corresponds with how I feel inside. As I grow older I am finding myself experiencing increasing levels of discomfort and dysphoria - it is getting to a point where it is affecting my confidence and quality of life day to day. I want to be able to present as my truest self and live in a body that matches the man I know myself to be internally. With that in mind, I am looking to begin my journey with a medical transition from my birth gender.

Unfortunately UK waiting times to access NHS gender services are upwards of 6 years and after living my whole life in the wrong body, I can’t wait any longer - so, I am choosing to fundraise for private treatment.

Goal 2: £30 monthly Gender Care fee (12 months) - totalling £360

Goal 3: Initial Blood Tests - £200

Goal 4: Testosterone Prescription - every 3 months for 12 months (£130 * 4 - totalling £520)

Goal 5: Follow Up Blood Tests - every 3 months for 12 months (£140 * 4 - totalling £560)
