Our son became a victim of homicide on June 6, 2019 after visiting childhood friends he hadn't seen in several years He was found executed and unmoved in the passenger seat of the vehicle. The driver, one of my sons best friends was also murdered, but was was able to run to a home before passing and a third friend was found with a gunshot wound to the head. My family is devastated.
We have been denied life insurance for Lance after several attempts in the past and the cost for proper burial is an issue. We are awaiting to hear back from the Victim Crime Unit for assistance; however, those funds will not be available until after 6 months, (if approved). We're hoping to schedule the services for Saturday, June 15, 2019.
No amount of money will ease the pain of our loss. Minimizing some of the financial stress will assist the family at this time.
