As I continue this great journey through life, I have come upon a small roadblock. After financial aid, Post 9/11 G.I. Bill assistance and savings, I am still financially short on achieving my Associate's Degree for the upcoming year.
Over the last few months, my current employer has been riddled with scandal, politics and "cooking books." I can no longer, in good conscience, morally or ethically carry out my duties to the children I serve on a daily basis. Therefore, I have made the decision to go back to school and finish up my Associate's Degree in General Technology. My major will be diesel mechanics with a minor in welding. This is something I have always wanted to do and hopefully can finish up in the next year or so.
The above dollar amount is the money I will be short, after financial aid and military assistance, to finish up my degree. I have calculated school supply cost, tuition, fuel cost, everything I can think of. This is all I am unable to fund.
Those of you who know me, know I am not looking for a handout or easy way out. My work ethic should not be in question and my ability to finish this up is well within sight. All I ask is that you think about donating to help me finally achieve this so I can start this new and exciting chapter in my life. Please consider a donation of any amount.
