Hi everyone. Thanks so much for taking a minute to read about my cause. My name is Morgan. I’m here in hopes of saving my dog, Lucci. We found out a few days ago that he has torn his ACL and needs to have a TPLO procedure done. He’s a big, over-loved house hippo and because of his weight and size, the less invasive surgery isn’t a choice for him, sadly.

Lucci is 8 years old and this is our first big health problem. He is a gentle giant, my best friend, protector, and lover of every kid he meets! He is the sweetest boy and I just can’t imagine ending his life because he landed funny while he was just being a dog.

We have been to the vet once for X-rays and to confirm the diagnosis. We are now waiting to get in with the surgeon who will do the surgery if I can raise the funds.
