My name is Vanessa and I am reaching out with a heavy heart, hoping you might find it in your hearts to support us during this incredibly difficult time. As some of you may know, and for those who do not know our story, my beloved mother, Salvacion Legaspi, recently passed away in California after a brave battle with cancer that spread throughout her body. She entered the U.S. on a tourist visa and was initially full of life, but her condition took a sudden turn that left our family in shock.

My mother leaves behind two daughters and one son. My brother is currently in the Philippines, accompanying our father, who is dependent on us as well. I currently reside in Canada, and my sister was with our mother in the US until her last breath. Unfortunately, only my sister and I are able to contribute to the expenses we are now facing, and this unexpected challenge has placed an immense burden on us as we navigate this painful situation.

We are seeking to raise $18,000 to cover the costs associated with bringing her remains back home to the Philippines, as well as the necessary funeral expenses to honor her memory. Every dollar donated brings us closer to ensuring that my mother is laid to rest in her homeland, fulfilling her last wish.
