Hello friends and supportive community members! I am asking for your support to help with a difficult situation.
Back in January, I moved in with my good friend Jeff, a single father to a seven year old with 50/50 custody. We were both experiencing some financial hardship and decided we could help each other out by becoming roommates.
Well, only one month after I moved in, we were served with a 90 day eviction notice. After recently acquiring the property, the new owner has decided that the most profitable use of the property would be to convert it to commercial use. We didn’t do anything wrong, yet we are being forced to move.
We are both already living paycheck to paycheck and there is no room to save enough money to move (about $4000 in today’s market).
We would be greatly appreciative of any help you can offer to help us secure a home. At the very least, please share this link to spread the word. If we could reach enough people, even small donations can have a great impact!
