As friends and family know, Jennie became very sick 5 years ago as she started experiencing seizures, loss of consciousness, migraines, and other problems She had been home bound for months as doctors tried to find answers

Her team of neurologists diagnosed severed anoxic brain injury as a result of prolonged carbon monoxide exposure.

Foue years ago this summer, Jennie couldn’t leave her house, couldn’t drive a car, and was in constant pain. Thanks to generous donations and the support of friends and family, she has undergone 180 hyperbaric oxygen treatments this year. It has been life changing.

In her recent complete neurological assessment, she scored 8 points higher in some areas of brain function than she did last year. Her pain has decreased, and she is in most ways back to normal life.

We faced a few tragic setbacks including the Covid deep vein thrombosis that almost took Jenn’s life, then a series of surgeries to repair an abdominal perforation and resulting infections, and she began having seizures and migraines during that time. But she is making a fairly good recovery again after her last surgery this past winter, and is back to working her windshield job part time from home as well as producing content for her social media channels.

At this time, Jennie needs to complete her neurology treatments so she can recover fully and have a future with her family. She has not been able to work for 6 months of this year due to her multiple surgeries snd hospitalizations. While she had basic health insurance, her neurologist and the clinic that had been treating her are not covered and her care will need to be paid out of pocket.

Her neurological rehabilitation center has assured us that there is still hope to reverse the damage almost completely. It will not heal completely in its own.

Her insurance does not cover the team of neurologists who treat this, as her insurance is very limited. We have worked hard to be able to pay for this care ourselves but have been amble to do so. .
