Hello, my name is Michelle. At the urging of my family, friends and my ailing health I have decided to set up a GoFundMe.

Many of you may not be aware but I have been sick for quite some time. A few years ago I was diagnosed with a large umbilical hernia that has become more painful as time progresses. I was rushed to the emergency room back in August with swelling and severe stomach pains and I could barely move. At the time, the doctor informed me that it was critical for me to see a General Surgeon to have the hernia surgically repaired as the condition of the hernia has worsened over time.

I have an appointment with the Surgeon on March 10th. I currently have Medical insurance, however there is a large Out of pocket deductible. After the surgery I will not be able to work for up to 4 weeks depending on my recovery time and the severity of my condition. In addition to the cost of Surgery I'll need assistance to pay my rent, monthly bills, buy groceries, as well as pay for medications and aftercare following the surgery.

As time progresses my health and quality of life have continued to decline. I suffer from stomach pain, fatigue, nausea, and General weakness. Some days I am unable to eat, walk, or simply get out of bed. I have also missed countless days of work due to my condition.

At this time I'm asking for donations so that I can get this hernia surgically repaired as soon as possible. I am absolutely grateful for anything I receive.

I am ready to HEAL and get back to my normal life.
