Hi, my name is Terri and I am fundraising because I am in an impossible situation. After falling ill in 2015 and three years of er visits and endless rounds of testing I was finally diagnosed with diabetic gastroparesis. Basically this means that I vomit and poop without control or time to reach a restroom. This condition makes it very difficult to hold a job in customer service, my only field, since my first job in high school. I have a culinary arts degree that is useless because of uncontrollable bodily functions. My husband was working at GM so I didn't need to work. However, Bob started having seizures and lost his job. I went back to work to keep us going and Bob applied for disability. Well, after over a year, he has been approved but his payments do not begin until August. Two months ago I was fired from my job over attendance. I missed 33 days in 14 months due to this illness. I am trying to find a legitimate work from home position but I have had 0 luck so far. I did go and beg for my job back and they agreed. I went back for 2 days and was sent home the second day because I almost fainted twice. What I am asking for is a little help from anyone who is able. The time for pride has gone out the window and I am truly desperate. I need to gather some funds to keep us going until August when Bob's disability starts up. So if you can help me out, please consider giving me a small hand up. I am desperate.
