Sarah Jernigan’s Daughters’ Emergent Needs

My children’s aunt, Sarah Jernigan, passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2023. She was 36 years old, and a single mom of 3 precious girls. A 15 year old daughter, and 8 year old twin girls. Sadly, Sarah is the only parent that was involved in their lives. Their uncle, Chris Donegan, now has sole custody of all three girls.

I am reaching out on behalf of my children’s family desperately seeking assistance for these girls. They lived in Oakman, Alabama, and had to be rapidly uprooted, brought to North Mississippi with essentially nothing, and basically need anything and everything that anyone can provide.

If you are able to donate any amount of money, no matter how large or small, it would be tremendously appreciated by my children’s family. This is a dire and urgent need. This is a loss of epic proportions to this family and especially to these sweet girls. I have never been a witness to such circumstances unfold, but my children’s family will always feel like my own family, so I am stepping up to the plate for them in their time of desperate need.

The future should not be filled with anxiety and uncertainty for these sweet sisters. Thank you in advance for any contributions you can make. They will be appreciated more than I can explain.

Edit: October 24 - Yesterday, October 23, the girls’ grandmother passed away unexpectedly. This family is experiencing unspeakable losses.
