Scott's active robot leg!

My husband, Scott Bonebrake, is the strongest person I know! After 2 amputations of his right leg he still continues to push on! I want to surprise him this Christmas with a new "active" robot leg that would allow him to do many of the activities his current "walking" prosthetic doesn't allow him to do! I am hoping to raise as much as I can toward the $9,000 leg and then pay the difference out of the benefit money we raised in 2013 (thanks to all of you)!
Scott was diagnosed with a rare disease at 2 years of age called "Ollier's disease". He has tumors in his upper and lower arm and leg bones, as well as his hands, feet, fingers and toes. His left arm was deformed from birth and is 4" shorter than his right, his legs were different lengths and his knees did not bend at the same place so he has never been able to do a lot of activities that most kids or adults do. Two and 1/2 years ago, he was diagnosed with cancer of his right foot and lower leg which led to his first amputation. A year later the cancer returned and he lost his right knee. With his "walking" leg he can get around but is still unable to do several activities he would love to do (which would be possible with the "active" leg).
Scott and I have been blessed with an amazing son named Dane (now 5 years old). Dane has given Scott more than enough reasons to continue to fight! Scott is an amazing father and husband and his battle with cancer has made our family appreciate life and one another more than ever! Scott has pain every day but I never hear him complain about his situation. He continues to amaze me and I couldn't imagine my life without him!
We have had so many people in our lives that have helped us get through the hard times, including friends, family and neighbors! We had 3 preschool moms drive Dane to school for 5 months after Scott's last amputation, neighbors have come over and shoveled our sidewalks, friends and family have donated their time and money to make our lives a little easier!! We don't know how to begin to thank all of YOU, but we thank GOD for all of you!! I THANK GOD FOR SCOTT! I want to do everything I can for him to make his time here with Dane and I as special and comfortable as possible.
