My name is Jami and my beautiful Uncle died on Friday at the young age of 17 years old.
My heart is breaking and so is my family's.
Jake had wonderful parents that loved him very much, their lives have been shattered and I cannot imagine the torture they are experiencing at having to bury their son. It kills me to think that they then have to pay for his funeral, to find the money that is required to give them the peace of mind that they said "goodbye" to their son in the most appropriate way.
I hope to raise $10,000 to cover their funeral expenses and to allow them some breathing space after this process is over.
It is likely Jake will be buried this week so this campaign is short but is urgent.
Jakes parents, my grandparents, are unaware of this campaign at the moment, they are very proud and private people that would never dream of asking for help, however would be touched beyond belief by this support. I respectfully ask that we don't mention this campaign to my grandparents until we know that we are able to cover Jake's funeral expenses.
Jake was a funny, smart and talented boy, he touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
