Parker's Back Surgery

Hi my name is Alisa & this is my three year old dog Parker . On Monday night I got home from work were I was greeted at the door by Parker who was whimpering and shaking softly. At first I had just thought left a window open and he was chilly in my apartment. After wrapping him up to warm him I found that he still wasn't okay.. I rushed him to the clifton emergency vet where we were stayed for hours taking x rays and ulimately being sent home with some medication that should help his back. The next day he was struggling to walk and when I contacted the vet they told me the medication needed time to work. Which I gave a few hours too and in that time Parker lost usage of his back legs. Thats when i rushed him to the Red bank emergency vet to see a neurologist where they needed to do a MRI and with that found he had herniated discs. These discs were putting pressure on his spine making him not be able to use his back legs. The best option was to move forward with surgey where they can remove these discs.

In the last two days I have been in and out of Vet emergency hospitals and found myself struggling to pay for these procedures. If you know me you know that Parker is my world and I am so deeply grateful to be his owner. This last two days have cost me about $13,000 and this is so hard for me to ask for help. I completely understand if you can not donate but i ask you to please share. ANYTHING helps.
