After a year and a half of begging my parents, I have finally been blessed with the privilege of being able to go on a Service Trip to Tanzania, Africa this upcoming summer for 21 days with Global Leadership Adventures (GLA). When I grow up I aspire to work for a non-profit organization while traveling to help those in need, just like I will be doing this summer.
During the trip I will work at the local schools and orphanages, along with painting and building playgrounds and classrooms. The group and I will travel on an African safari, hike to a waterfall on the side of Mt. Kilimanjaro, along with traveling three hours away from our home base to live and learn among the Maasai people for a weekend.
I am seeking finical support from friends and family so that I can defer some of the trip, medical, and travel expenses, as well as contribute directly to the GLA fund for supporting the poor throughout this area of the world. Any/ all contributions would be greatly appreciated.
