On September 11, 2013, I was in a horrible motorcycle accident that changed my life forever.  I survived the wreck, but the accident tore my left leg off right above the knee.  I have been in rehabilitation since then, trying to return to as normal of a life as I can.  I'll never have my old life back, but a prosthetic, one that can help me be active again, would be a huge blessing.
