My name is Epi and I'm doing this fundraiser for my wife Rebecca.

After fighting for a year and dealing with chemo and radiation multiple PET scans and visits to the oncologist now cancer has taken over. Becky's battle started with COPD and Small Cell Lung Cancer (chemo was etopiside and carboplatin for 3 months, 4days a week and radiation a month and half 5 days week) pet scan showed improvement of removing cancer in right lung but had spread to her lymph nodes. They started another round of chemo (topotecan) for 4 months ,5 days a week with 2 weeks off. Another pet scan done in late February showed cancer has spread into lymph nodes, left clavicle, throat, stomach, both kidneys and liver . She recently went to the ER for shortness of breath and was admitted. After CT scan and Xrays cancer spread to both lungs, the doctor said there is no stopping it. We had hopes of knocking this one out but the oncologist says there is nothing else that can be done. The oncologist gave her 5 to 6 months to live but with prayers and God we will this fight to the very end. The fundraiser is for the hospital bills that are piling up(they are more than my asking goal) I would like to plan a few trips for us and funeral arrangements when the time comes. It pains me to even write this and see her this way after being together for 23 years. As I lay beside her at night, I wonder, why this why us?
