John J. Salisbury, 57, passed away suddenly while on a fishing trip in Pennsylvania on September 17th, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Beth A. (Devlin) Salisbury. John was born in Providence, a son of Lester “Roy” and Antia (Garceau) Salisbury of North Providence.
He was a manager for Down City Parking for several years. He lived in Woonsocket for many years before moving to Mapleville in 1999. He loved fishing and playing poker.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was the brother of Stephen Salisbury of Johnston and the late Edward Salisbury. He is also survived by his step-son Justin Jobin of Long Island, NY.
John passed away unexpectedly, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. We are organizing this fundraiser to honor his memory and support his family during this incredibly difficult time. All proceeds will go directly toward helping with funeral expenses and providing some financial relief to his loved ones.
John gave so much to our community simply by being who he was – friendly, thoughtful, and always ready to lend a hand. Now, we have the opportunity to give something back to him and his family.
No contribution is too small, and every gesture of support counts.
Thank you for joining us in remembering John and showing his family the care and appreciation he gave to all of us.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 from 4:30-6pm with a funeral service to follow at 6pm in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel of Patrick Quinn Funerals and Cremations, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI.
