My Mongol charity rally

Thanks for clicking, so here’s my story.
I’m looking to do a thing called the “Mongol rally”. Essentially you take a really crap car (I have one already, it cost me £500) and drive from London to just north of Mongolia to the village of Ulan Ude. In total that's a 10'000 mile plus drive.
The Mongol rally is a charity event with the idea that each person (car) raises £1000 for charity, £500 of which goes to ‘Cool earth'.
The other £500 goes towards a charity, on in this case charities, of my choice.I have decided to focus on two charities which are very close to my heart, the first of which being Anthony Nolan. My brother James passed away just before his thirteenth birthday in 2002 after suffering for a number of years with leukemia. During this time he received a bone marrow transplant which was provided by the Anthony Nolan charity, this added valuable years to his short life. The second charity I am focusing on is the Alzheimer's society. My aunt, who I was very close to, suffered for six long years with this disease and I would like to do my bit to help find a cure.
Rally cost £575 to enter, which i have already paid. I’m doing all I can to save every penny to pay for the costs that will be incurred during the trip. I’m looking to raise £1600. Please help me on my way.
