For Lauren - BerbeeWalsh Emergency Medical Fund

As some of you may know, on October 22nd, Lauren Machotka, a student of Monona Grove and a dear friend to many, was in a serious car accident. She was Med Flighted to UW Hospital with several life-threatening injuries, and now remains in around-the-clock care as her brain injuries heal (Grade 3 DAI).

 

To show our support to Lauren during her time of healing and the recovery ahead of her, including our gratitude to the staff of UW Hospital, we will have "For Lauren" bracelets available in the OHS commons, in exchange for your donation of a dollar or more. These donations will be made in her name to UW Hospital’s Berbee Walsh Emergency Medicine Fund . If you are not a student/staff attending OHS and would like a bracelet for your donation; contact the Organizer listed below: Margaret Templeton.
