In July of 2021 we received devastating news that shook us to the core. Shelly Reylek was diagnosed with breast cancer and the tumor had gone through her chest cavity, making surgery near impossible without first shrinking. While trying to get over the shock of it all and trusting God to guide her, she did extensive research to find the best course of action.

This is where she was led to an amazing cancer clinic in Orange County. They offer specialized treatment that has been helping her tremendously. In the first 8 treatments her tumor shrank nearly 40%! The only problem is the cost is extensive and not covered by insurance. She has had to scrape every penny, borrow and sell items to find the money to cover it. So far the bills have totalled more than $60k which is becoming more than they can handle. The stress of not knowing if she will be able to pay for the next treatment has put a huge weight on her shoulders.

Shelly has always put others before herself and would give you the shirt off her back. She not only raised her three biological children, but adopted two and took on foster children. She has always selflessly volunteered to do whatever she could, never asking for anything in return. She has been a “Mom” to SO many. Shelly has devoted her life to helping others and now for the first time, she is in need of our help.
