I’ve never really met a person like Ken Willis. This man was so full of life and happiness. Ken knew how to love his sons Bryce and Reese. He met the love of his life at 56 and he and Jessica spent that time traveling, falling in love and making the most of every minute they had together. When Ken and Jess decided to get married they chose to tie the knot the day before Thanksgiving this year (November of 2022) they were so excited to celebrate each other and begin a new chapter they were going to step into. Needless to say, Ken was taken away far too early! You couldn’t be around Ken without smiling and laughing. He exuded charisma and joy! Ken was an amazing human being. He never met a stranger… anywhere; and let me tell you he loved to travel. From those travels Ken always had great stories to tell! He found a home in Tampa Bay. Ken poured his life in to his sons by being active in everything Bryce and Reese were involved in. He rarely missed a lacrosse game and even stepped in to help announce those games. Family always came first for Ken. He joined The Krewe of the Knights of Sant’Yago and made wonderful friends! Where Ken worked hard to make our community a better place. Ken always pitched in and helped with anything (and ALWAYS made it fun). He held so many titles to the people in his life… Father, Husband, True Love, Dearest friend, Confidant, Brother, Great Cook, Hunter and Fisherman.
