Help Sam keep his home

Friends and family,
We need your urgent help.
The recent loss of our beloved James Erb has been a devastating blow for us all, in ways we couldn't have imagined just a few short weeks ago.
The people closest to him are all struggling to pick up the pieces, but there's one person in particular whose plight was made heavier in an especially unique way.
Sam Hull - Erb's roommate and brother for life, is left living alone in the space he occupied alongside James for many years.
As we all know, the cost of living at this time is absolutely staggering - especially when trying to climb out from underneath the weight of such extraordinary trauma and grief.
Unfortunately, we are fast approaching a deadline to get things in order before Sam loses his living space altogether.
Our goal is to buy some time for Sam to get back on his feet, and to raise enough money to cover his living expenses for at least a couple of months.
Sam made the brave decision this past week to admit himself to UT hospital and undergo a safe, medical detox from alcohol. It was the first step of many to come that will change the trajectory of his life path for the better, and securing his living space for the time being is just another important and necessary piece of that process.
The goal we've set would more than cover the cost of his rent, which is $875/month, as well as a basic estimate of his monthly utilities, for a three month period.
All the money donated will go directly from this fundraiser to the landlord and Knoxville Utility Board, and any leftover funds will be used to pay for groceries and basic necessities for that time frame - including a new pair of glasses for Sam.
Anything you could offer would be extremely helpful.
I have personally witnessed the way this experience of loss has brought so many people together in the most beautiful and heart-healing of ways, and anything offered to this cause would just further reinforce the kind of connection that Erb's life inspired.
Erb clothed, fed and housed so many people in the years that I knew him - myself included. And I know he would want to do whatever he could to help Sam, too.
Please consider donating whatever you can.
These offerings have the potential to be life-saving for Sam.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out via DM at any point.
Thank you all so much for your time and consideration, and please share this if you can
