Hi I’m Bear and I’m 11 weeks old! My brother Moose and I got adopted by my parents Jacob and Olivia from a small town in Connecticut and we moved all the way to Bridgton Maine. It’s been great besides for all the vet visits. After a lot of visits, tests and late scary nights for my parents I was diagnosed with Congenital Portosystemic Shunt disease which is a fancy way of saying my liver doesn’t work. The drs say once I get a little bit bigger and a little bit stronger I can get surgery at Tufts Medical Center for $15000 and I will make a full recovery. For now they say I have to keep taking a lot of medicine and eating this gross dr food and worst of all no treats and I will be strong enough for surgery. I will keep giving love and kisses to my family and I know with hard work and some help I will feel better soon! Thank you for your support!
