Jennifer’s Battle Against Stage 3 Breast Cancer

Hello Everyone,
Every two minutes a women is diagnosed with Breast Cancer in the US. In September 2023, sadly I became one of them. I would like to share my personnel story with each of you below:
In July 2023, I woke in the morning to discover what appeared felt like two mosquito bites on my breast. The itching stopped after a day or so; however, the two tiny bumps remained. After searching the web, I had no symptom's of any Breast Cancer symptoms listed; thus, still believed I must have been bitten by an insect. After a month or so, I finally decided to contact my Doctor, and a mammogram and diagnostic ultrasound was scheduled and conducted on 09/11/23. The Mammo results did not show the masses; however, the masses were seen during the Ultra-Sound. On 09/19/23 a biopsy was conducted and confirmed the diagnosis of Breast Cancer ("Invasive Ductal Carcinoma"). On 10/02/23, a breast MRI was conducted and several (7) satellite masses were found. It is believed that the larger mass has been there for approximately 3 years (pre-cancerous); however, as time has lapsed, it has spread outside the original spot where it initially formed and since has become invasive breast cancer.
A double Mastectomy and reconstructive surgery is schedule in December 2023. A couple of weeks after the surgery, the Doctor will be able to determine what stage the Cancer is in. The tumor size is strongly related to its Stage. If the masses are confirmed to be separate then the Cancer is in its early staging. If the masses are confirmed to be connected (one larger tumor), then the Cancer is an advanced staged. Also, after the surgery, if additional treatment (Radiation and/or Chemo) will be determined.
Miraculously, I woke to the itching and bites, as a routine Mammo would not have detected the Cancer and it would still be growing undetected. When i explain to the Doctors, they say "never have heard of anyone's breast cancer being detected as an insect bite and finds it remarkable that I was able to find my own cancer". I truly believed it was the hand of God whom gave me a sign. Since I received the COVID shot, I have been suffering tremendously with different illnesses.
In Feb 2023, I had a CT Scan which showed, I have lesions and nodules on my liver and lining stomach. I have another MRI schedule 10/14/23 of my Liver and a pending PET Scan to be scheduled. These scans will determine if I have Cancer in other parts of my Body. Please keep me in your prayers that the upcoming scans are clear from Cancer and after surgery, I will not need further treatment. This surgery and potential treatment is going hit my family and I hard financially, as I will need to take time off work to recover.
