TUBBS FIRE: Edgar Insurance Deposit

Last Sunday, my cousin Matt and his fiancee Jen were forced to evacuate their home in Santa Rosa in the early hours of the morning as the Tubbs Fire raged through their neighborhood and threatened their home.  They now have confirmation that the house they have spent so much time turning into their home is gone, along with all of their belongings and memories.  They were lucky enough to have been able to save their two dogs and five chickens but were unable to get much more than that. They are currently staying with family, waiting like many others for the dust to settle so they can go back to the sight where their home used to stand and figure out what to do next.

Matt works for PG&E and is already returning to work in an effort to help his community regain power and phone service. Jen is a full time student at SRJC and studying to become a nurse. All of her textbooks and supplies were lost in the fire. 

I am starting this page in an effort to raise the funds necessary to cover their insurance deposit so they can begin the healing process with one less thing to worry about. This deposit is essential to start the insurance claims process. All donations are greatly appreciated. There are many deserving people who have been effected by this disaster, but Matt and Jen have worked so hard to create a beautiful life for themselves and I can't stand to think that all their hard work has been for nothing. Please help these wonderful people by giving them one less thing to worry about in the wake of this tragedy.
