Our Trailhead community is rallying behind one of our own — Jack Buis, a 26-year-old weightlifter representing Colorado — as he prepares to compete on the national stage at the VIRUS Weightlifting Finals in Daytona Beach, December 4–7.

Jack’s journey is one of grit, passion, and relentless dedication. Since joining Trailhead, he’s become a cornerstone of our gym family — showing up early, working out late, and inspiring everyone with his work ethic and positive energy. His progress in the sport has been nothing short of remarkable: In just four years of training, Jack has achieved a personal best of a 120kg snatch and 153 kg in the clean & jerk and placed 3rd at the 2024 Nike National Championships.

Now, Jack has earned the opportunity to represent Colorado on the national platform — a well-deserved recognition of his commitment and heart. We want to help make sure financial barriers don’t stand in the way of this incredible moment.
