Greetings to all of our family, friends, and race fans, we pray this Appeal finds you in good spirits and in good health.
As you may already know, our Brother Ron Zajicek, of Ron's Rear Ends, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday March 6, 2017 @ 5:41pm, while holding hands with his loving wife Wendy and daughter Racheal, by his side. Ron was well known throughout the NASCAR Racing Community for his expertise and craftsmanship in building all types of rear end gears. From race cars, to hot rods, to 4x4 's, to quick changes, Ron could do it all !! Everyone wanted a "Gear" by Ron, and he had a garage full to prove it. Ron was big in stature, but even a BIGGER teddy bear inside. He was always there to help someone out in need, and not only when it came to rear ends. Ron was like this central hub of information. He would get you lined up with quality people for whatever part you were looking for. Ronnie had connections from coast to coast !! He was especially partial to helping out the "Low Buck" racer at the track, because he came from humble beginnings and worked hard all his life. Ron ALWAYS did whatever he could to get another race car on the track. He also helped many of NASCAR's top drivers rise through the ranks by helping them out early in their careers and never boasted.
Ron was very private about certain things in his life, one of them being his health. He never wanted to trouble anyone or put someone out on his account. Even many of Ronnie's closest friends didn't know he suffered from heart disease for the last 20 years of his life, or didn't know the severity of it. 17 years ago it started with his first Mechanical Heart Valve, which eventually led him to receiving a pacemaker/defibrillator. Ron had suffered many bouts and a variety of illnesses related to his condition. Over the course of this past year, his condition worsened and really took its toll on him. Countless trips to the ER, spending weeks at a time in the hospital, and even the last 3 weeks in ICU. Medications and special health supplies were adding up and his insurance only covered so much. Ron is survived by his immediate family, wife Wendy, daughter Racheal, son in law Jeff, and 2 beautiful grandchildren. As a friend of Ron's for more than 20 years, I humbly ask that you do whatever you can to support Ron's Family in their time of need. With many unpaid medical bills and expenses yet left to pay,not to mention the day to day expenses, your gift couldn't go to a more deserving family. Please help spread the word throughout our racing community as Ron will be surely missed.
May God bless you and your families,
Thank you, A grateful friend of Ron's
