After six heartbreaking months of searching for my mother, Jacqueline Allen — who went missing in May — the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office has finally received the DNA results from the unidentified remains discovered on May 28.

Today we learned the devastating truth: the remains are those of my beloved mother.

My family and I are now faced with the difficult task of laying her to rest with the dignity and love she deserves. We are humbly asking for your help. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward giving Mom a proper burial and a beautiful memorial service so we can honor her life and say goodbye surrounded by those who loved her.
