Morris/Patricia James Medical Fund
Donation protected
This fund is organized on behalf of Brother & Sister Morris James by those who feel called to travel this journey and fight this battle along with them.
Whether you make a monetary donation or keep them lifted in prayer, words cannot express our thankfulness for your support.
In December, 2013, Sister James was delivered from cancer and given a clean bill of health. On January 15, 2016, she was diagnosed to have contracted a different and aggressive form of cancer (leukemia).
Sister Patricia James is the wife of Brother Morris James, her lifetime best friend of 40 years, cherished mom of one daughter, Kathleen and two sons, Mac and Chris. But her favorite title is grandma! She is blessed with and adored by twelve grand children and one god daughter. She is the sunshine and inspiration in the lives of so many others who’ve come to know and love her.
60 years young, Sister James has so much more life to live enjoying, inspiring and loving her family and friends, as well as complete strangers. A TRUE servant, she has much more to share.
For the past twenty years, she has served as Assistant Coordinator for the community food pantry at her local church as well as department head of Hospitality. She has the responsibility of meal coordination for the bereavement ministry, the annual church picnic, and other events. But her most cherished role is that of homemaker, wife, mother and grandma.
Our prayer is through this fund is that her loving husband, Brother James, will be able to take time off work as a commissioned salesman to provide the support and comfort his bride desperately needs. Currently, she is undergoing the first part of the treatment plan: an intense month of aggressive chemotherapy, followed by vital bone marrow transplantation. The initial treatment will require at the least 28 days of hospitalization and an additional three to four months outpatient care for the bone marrow transplant. Hospitalization and out patient care will require her to remain in Kansas City the entire time.
The Lord has given us this opportunity to minister to Brother and Sister James in prayer and financial support during this time of trial. As a commisioned salesman, Brother James does not receive any income when he is not able to work. Hospitalized more than an hour away from her home and family, your support during this journey lessens the burden they must endure and allows Brother James to be by her side.
In addition to your financial support we once again solicit your thoughts and prayers.
