Rest In Peace Kyler Lahti

Donation protected

It’s with a heavy heart I’m writing this post. It is absolutely devastating to share that Kyler Scott Lahti’s life journey has come to an end. Kyler had a tragic accident in the evening on April 5th. He was a car aficionado and enjoyed working on his Chevelle any opportunity possible. That evening, while waiting for the neighbors to finish making dinner, he was working on the car. His wife Ashley went to tell him there was 10 minutes until dinner, where she found him trapped underneath the car with him unresponsive. She called out for help. The neighbors responded immediately, and started CPR. 911 was called and an ambulance arrived shortly thereafter. CPR was continued but was unsuccessful.

Kyler was an incredible husband to Ashley Lahti, easy-going father to Dylan Martin (21) and caring son of Roxanne Dilley and Kit Lahti (both deceased), Bruce and Dixie Dilley and Kathy Lahti (step-parents). He was also a fun-loving uncle to Aiden (13) and Caron Olsen (9) and sweet-souled little kid-brother to Jenn Lahti Olsen and Kris Olsen.

No one would ever think this would happen and especially to someone this young. We, Ashley’s family and friends are reaching out to you all for help. During this pandemic, Kyler has been the sole provider for their household. We understand financial burdens that we all are facing in these fluid times. We kindly ask for any donations to help assist with upcoming expenses including costs associated with putting him to rest. Kyler was a wholesome man with strong values and understanding of his role as a head of household. He had a big heart and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. We appreciate your support and help. We hope this message will find you healthy and safe. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Due to Covid concerns, a funeral will be held on Sat 4/11 only for immediate family. A memorial service will be held at a later undetermined date.
