Helping the Zubiate/Pell family

So, as many of you know, Peter has been suffering an auto immune disorder for a very long time. Things, over the last year, have taken a turn for the worse and have left him unable to work and in and out of the hospital frequently. It remains unclear what the exact diagnosis is after many many doctors but what is clear is that he will not be able to work anymore in the forseeable future, if ever. 

Any of you that know Pete personally know that is is one of the kindest, most generous and talented men around. One who always lent a helping hand even if it meant putting his own needs on the back burner. He is one of my best friends and creative inspirations. His company Zubiate Projects showed his incredible craft and anyone lucky enough to own one of his pieces, I raise a glass to your intelligence and taste. 

Things are extremely difficult for the family right now. His wife, Katie and daughter, Bygoe, are taking care of him at home as well as taking care of thier lives, jobs and school. Without Peter's income it has been as continues to be a serious struggle. 

I have been asked to put this up by many people who want to help. At these times its always hard to know what to do for those in your community who need a hand. We are busy, we mean to ask what they need but life gets busy or we don't want to impose or intrude. People help in their own ways and this is by no means the only way, I have been delivering food as have others. We have also been asking around for those with medical/nursing experience to give us help with all the doctors/referals and appointments. I am putting this out there now because it is time and help is needed and I want people to have a channel with which to help. Please note that you can set up a monthly donation also.
