In Memory of Jared Wright

Jared was a friend, a father, a son, a brother, an uncle and so much more. He was a bright, accomplished and a loving person. He was more than just a handsome guy, he was smart, hilarious, laidback and always a person you could count on. He was a true friend. Losing him is truly a tragedy.

 Our eyes sting from crying, our brain screams “This can’t be true, wake up!” and our heart just ache….

 There was a really awful car accident on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately the lives of two great men were lost and all of their loved ones are in deep mourning.

At approximately 3:25 p.m., on Saturday, October 3rd, Jared Wright was in the passenger seat when the driver lost control of the car on the wet roadway. The vehicle veered off the road into the median, struck an embankment, and overturned before coming to rest upside down in the eastbound lane. The driver lost his life that day, and Jared lost his battle the day after.

Jared’s longtime girlfriend and love of 5 years, Sayeda Akbar was in Germany for a family wedding when the accident occurred. She had actually only arrived in Germany 12 hours prior to receiving the news. Her father was with her, and they both immediately made arrangements to come back to the states. Sayeda arrived back in Cleveland on Sunday evening. Sunday evening was a whirlwind of hard decisions and emotional turmoil for Sayeda and Jared’s family.

Our heart breaks in all of this; a young life cut short, a future we never get to see unfold, a soul without its mate.

I am telling you all of this, to ask that you consider assisting in the expenses that occur with such a tragedy. All of the monies donated will go directly to Jared’s funeral cost, unsettled bills and any additional expenses. Additionally, we ask also that you keep Jared & Sayeda’s friends and family in your thoughts and prayers. Please pray for peace and comfort as they grieve.
