Help lift the burden

Who I am is of no importance. The man this fundraiser is for, he's the important one in all of this. Don Frederick, as most of us know, has been dealt an unfortunate hand. On top of his stage 4 cancer diagnosis, he is now faced with having to pay for all of his tests and treatments that go along with his diagnosis (because, as we all know, insurance companies suck once the big C word is mentioned). This, in turn, has led to him having to dip into a personal nest egg that has been saved for a new roof and windows for their home.

Unfortunately, Don is not confused about his diagnosis, and although we (his family) all know he's gonna be the finest definition of fine, he is still trying to prepare for the absolute worst. Putting a new roof on and new windows in their home would lessen the burden that COULD be left behind. So, yes, I am asking for $10,000, but honestly, just the know-how or the willingness to pitch in would be appreciated. And if nothing else, prayers are always appreciated and welcome. So if we can come together as much or as little as we can and help Don and Linda Frederick get a roof and some windows in their home, we can add a little brightness to an otherwise dark situation.
