Funeral Expenses

A dear friend of mine, recently went through a tragic loss. Adriana’s father also known as “papi” as she likes to call him, passed away on Tuesday April 21st back in her home country, Chile. He was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this month. Although his passing is still unclear, because the biopsy results were still being processed at the time of death, (the results were delayed due to the pandemic) the assumptions are, that the cause, was cancer. 

Adriana was a true daddy’s girl. Her eyes would light up every time she talked to me about her childhood memories with him. She was very proud of her father, for who he was and his accomplishments. I don’t know anyone else in my life who is as close to their father as she was with him. She was his little princess. The very first time I met him, I immediately learned where Adriana’s kind nature, energy, sweet personality, and selflessness was from. He was sweet, welcoming, and gives you the warmest of hugs. It truly breaks my heart to see a dear friend of mine go through this, losing not only her father but also her very best friend. 

I know during this unprecedented time, everyone is in financial hardship. Adriana, like many of us, are in the same boat, which is why every bit of your donation large or small, will be a tremendous help. Your donation will go towards the funeral services and to her mom who will now be carrying a lot of the  financial challenges on her own.
