7G: THE FIGHT AGAINST PHONES (Short Film)

Hi! My name is David Leo. I'm a 20 year old Transgender-American film student at the School of Visual Arts, and I'm crowdfunding my next film. It's called 7G- it started as a short experimental webseries me and my friends made for fun. It was 2021, and we couldn't hang out in real life, so we just asked each other to record ourselves when we wanted to make an episode.

Now we're going to make 7G into a live action short film!

7G is an experimental sci-fi comedy about a group of humans who are fighting the overuse of modern technology with swords, rayguns, and older technology in a world overrun by sentient phones.

It'll look something like a combination of the old episodes and my more recent film, Mommy on Drugs, which got into the Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Fest and the Cinema Queer Trashy X-mas Program.
