Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am trying to help raise money to support my niece Ashley. If you don't know her, she is a wife, step-mom, mother, daughter, sister (blood and not), niece, and rockstar friend to many. She is the step mom to a beautiful young lady named Kairi who loves all things artistic like her. She has an amazing young man by the name of Jaxton who loves history and learning about the different wars. And little Aliyah who enjoys stuffies and coloring. As many of you may already know, Ashley was admitted into the hospital in mid-February for issues with seizures and blackout along with some other symptoms. After many tests including an MRI and CT scans, it was discovered that there were two tumors on the left side of her brain causing the issues. Ashley went into surgery on Thursday, Feb. 22nd to remove as much of the larger tumor as possible. The surgeon was able to remove most of it and it has been sent off for biopsy. We should know more hopefully next week. In the meantime, Ashley is recovering in the ICU and she is beginning to regain basic motor skills but has been having some seizures during physical therapy. The doctors are trying to adjust her anti seizure medication. Her husband Tony has been there with her but there is still a long road ahead of them. Tony is not on social media and Ashley hasn't been able to since her surgery. We are trying to keep all her friends and family updated with her condition and we ask that you please send prayers and positive thoughts for a fast recovery. We will try and keep everyone updated as we know more. I have started a GoFundMe to help Ashley and her family to help support them through these uncertain and unfathomable circumstances.
